Make your qualifications clear in a few useful lines.

Start with the basics

Add your institution, degree and field of study, location, and graduation date. If you are still studying, write Expected followed by the month and year.

List multiple institutions as separate entries, usually with the most recent first. Do not describe an unfinished qualification as completed.

Decide whether GPA is useful

GPA is optional unless the employer requests it. If you include it, state the scale, such as 3.8/4.0. Use the same convention consistently.

You can put GPA in the degree field or add a short highlight. Do not invent or round a number in a way that misrepresents the record.

Choose coursework selectively

Relevant coursework is most useful when it demonstrates knowledge needed for the position and your work experience is still limited. A concise line is often enough.

For an engineering internship, specific courses such as data structures, control systems, or experimental design can be more informative than a long list of introductory classes.

Keep the section proportional

A current student may put Education near the top. An experienced candidate may prefer Experience first. Use the section order buttons to change the hierarchy.

The editor accepts custom section titles. Keep headings recognizable and verify the final PDF after moving sections.
