Jake’s Resume Google Docs Template — Make a Copy or Import Yours
Start from a Google Docs copy, or build your resume here and keep editing it in Docs.
Make a copy in Google Docs Open this example in the editor1. Copy the Google Docs template
Select Make a copy in Google Docs. Google asks you to sign in, then saves your own copy in your Drive. The template contains a fictional example; replace every detail with your own.
The template is converted from this editor’s Word export, so it uses Times New Roman instead of the LaTeX font, and dates sit beside each heading instead of on the right margin.
2. Or import your own resume
Edit your details on the homepage. Choose Export resume → Word document (.docx) and save the file. In Google Drive, choose New → File upload, open the file with Google Docs, then choose File → Save as Google Docs.
Google receives the file when you upload it or make a copy. This editor does not access your Drive or send documents to Google automatically.
3. Check the converted document
Confirm Letter or A4 page size, inspect each bullet, and verify the page count. Google Docs may substitute fonts and adjust line wrapping.
Download a PDF from Google Docs if you continue editing there. That PDF comes from Google Docs; it may differ from the original LaTeX PDF compiled in this editor.
The shared Google Docs template is a separate, manually maintained copy. Changes to this editor’s Word export do not update it automatically. This editor cannot read later changes in your Drive or synchronize a Google Docs document back into your browser draft.
